Demi Moore and Ed Helms are not dating, despite a tabloid report falsely claiming the two began a relationship on the set of their new movie. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the rumors. A rep for the comedy star tells us there’s no romance between the two.


According to the National Enquirer, Moore and Helms hit it off while filming the comedy Corporate Animals earlier this year. The outlet notes that the 55-year-old actress often dates men in their 20s, but says she’s found a more age-appropriate partner with the 44-year-old Helms. “Demi is starting to understand that dating younger guys isn’t something that has a good long-term prognosis,” an alleged insider tells the magazine. “Ed may be 11 years younger than Demi, but he’s a lot more mature than the other guys she’s been failing with.”



The outlet’s questionable source goes on to say that Moore’s friends are happy she’s dating a man closer to her own age, while the actress “doesn’t believe she’s got to prove anything by hooking up with guys so much younger than her any longer.” The seemingly phony tipster adds, “She and Ed have a lot in common, and they can communicate more easily than talking with a guy who could more easily be her kid than her partner.” The “insider” further contends that Moore hopes her relationship with Helms “can be lasting and that she can have more fun with a grown-up.”


This story is based on hearsay from an anonymous and untraceable “source,” but Gossip Cop checked in Holmes’ spokesperson, who assures us he’s not dating Moore. It seems the untrustworthy magazine decided to romantically link two celebrities who happen to be making a film together. It should also be noted, the Enquirer’s sister publication, RadarOnline, posted a version of this story on its website, but took it down a few hours later without any explanation. Gossip Cop has posted a screenshot below of the article that’s now mysteriously disappeared.


Additionally, the Enquirer is hardly reliable when it comes to getting accurate news about the actress’s love life. Gossip Cop busted the tabloid last year for falsely claiming that Moore was practicing “sensual yoga” with Brad Pitt. In 2016, the publication made up a story about the actress hooking up with Tobey Maguire. The outlet has also wrongly linked Moore to famous men like Zac Efron, Thomas Jane and Joe Manganiello, to name a few. This latest article involving her nonexistent romance with Helms is more fiction.
